CC Tennis App – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the CC Tennis mobile app (“App”) collects, uses, and shares information. It also describes your choices and rights. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

What we collect
We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use the App.
Information you provide
Account or contact details you submit (for example name, email, phone) when you RSVP, request stringing, or contact us.
Community and user generated content, such as posts for last minute subs or discussions. Do not submit sensitive personal information in these areas.
Preferences and selections, such as event types, level, or notifications.
Support requests and feedback you send us.
Information collected automatically
Device and usage data: device model, OS version, App version, language, time zone, settings, IP address, and in App actions (for example screens viewed, taps, and session duration).
Diagnostics and crash data to improve stability and performance.
Push notification token if you enable notifications. You can opt out in your device settings at any time.
Approximate location derived from IP for analytics and security. We do not collect precise GPS location unless a feature clearly asks for it and you consent.
Information from third parties
If you tap links that leave the App (for example to WhatsApp or a web RSVP form), those services may collect information under their own policies. We do not control those services.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
Provide and operate the App, including RSVP, schedules, discussions, last minute subs, and stringing requests.
Communicate with you about events, updates, and service notices, including push notifications if enabled.
Maintain safety, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms and community guidelines.
Analyze usage and improve features, performance, and usability.
Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Legal bases for EEA and UK users
If you are in the EEA or UK, we process personal data under these legal bases:
Contract: to provide the App and requested services.
Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the App, and to communicate service updates. We balance these interests against your rights.
Consent: for optional features such as push notifications or precise location (if introduced). You may withdraw consent at any time in settings or by contacting us.
Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
Service providers who help us operate the App (hosting, analytics, error logging, message delivery). They are bound by contracts to protect your information and use it only on our instructions.
Third party services you choose to use, such as WhatsApp or external web forms. Your use of those services is governed by their policies.
Authorities, regulators, or others when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the club, our users, or the public.
Successors in the event of a reorganization or transfer of the club or the App. We will notify you of any material changes.
Third party services we rely on
The App may interact with or include technology from:
Apple (App Store, TestFlight, push notifications, analytics and crash reports).
AppMySite or a similar app container service that builds and delivers the App.
WhatsApp for community chat, if you choose to follow the link. When you open WhatsApp, their policy applies.
Web forms or payment processors if enabled in the future (for example Stripe or PayPal). If added, links will be clearly indicated.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, then delete or de identify it.
RSVP and event records: up to 24 months after the event, unless required longer for accounting or legal reasons.
Community posts and subs listings: visible while relevant to the thread; archived or deleted after no longer needed.
Push tokens: while you keep notifications enabled or until invalidated.
Crash and analytics logs: typically 13 months or less.
You may request deletion sooner using the procedure below.
Your choices and rights
Opt out of push notifications at any time in device settings.
Do not post sensitive information in community areas.
Access, correct, or delete your information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity.
California privacy rights (CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may request to know, access, or delete personal information, and to correct inaccurate information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. You may exercise rights by contacting us at the email below.
EEA and UK rights
If GDPR applies, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. Please take care with what you post publicly.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We may store or process information in the United States or other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Community and user generated content
Posts in discussions or subs boards are public to other App users. Content may be moderated. Do not share personal information of others without consent. We may remove content that violates our guidelines.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version in the App and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other reasonable means.
